    2. It is very easy ! You can send your request by mail to: Domaine des Ormes “ La Cabane en l'Air ” Epiniac 35 120 Dol de Bretagne – France. Please give the location of the site and the type of tree-house you wish to book, your address and your phone number, and also the names and personal details of the persons who you wish to offer the gift voucher to. Thank you for enclosing the payment. Once we receive your letter, we will issue the voucher and send it to you, ready to be offered to your friends or your children!
  2. Can we come into a tree-house with children ? top
    3. Only the family tree-houses are suitable to children : the family tree-houses for little ones are allowed to children from 2. The junior family tree-houses are allowed to children from 6.
  3. How do the ecological toilets work ? top
    4. This method is to be discovered on site ! 100% of our guests have succeeded in this so natural process.
  4. Is it necessary to wear specific clothes to climb up to the tree-houses ? top
    5. Not specific, but comfortable clothes! Jeans and sports shoes are perfect..
  5. What shall we bring along ?top
    6. Just bring the bare necessities for the night. Sheets/hand towel, candle/dynamo lamp and safety equipment to reach the tree-houses are provided.
  6. Is it necessary to bring sleeping bags?top
    7. It is imperative ! You will sleep inside. In winter, a good warm sleeping bag is highly recommended.
  7. What happens if I am too afraid to climb up to the tree-house?top
    8. Rehousing in another type of accommodation will be proposed to you with no extra charge, but no refund can be allowed. Please read imperatively the “special tree-house”terms and conditions available in our brochures and on the website www.top-tree-house.co.uk
  8. Are your trees strong enough? top
    9. Our tree-houses are nestling in ancient trees : oaks, cedars, sequoias, lime trees... They all are in perfect condition. A health control is made every year. We never forget that the tree is the main “beam” of the building.
  9. Somebody told me that harnesses are not always reliable...top
    10. A harness can bear almost 2 tons (like a car for example)
  10. To climb up to the tree-house, I guess I have to be sporty ?top
    11. Climbing up to a tree-house is not so physical ! It is just a bit impressive! The only restriction is fear of heights! The major ingredients are enthusiam and good mood. Of course, it is recommended to feel comfortable on a ladder or when suspended with a harness.
  11. Can we recharge our mobile phone in the tree-house ? top
    12. No, you can’t. The tree-houses have no electricity.
  12. How can we bring our luggage up to the tree-house?top
    13. Your luggage is fastened to a snaphook at the foot of the tree. You will pull it up with a rope. It is advisable to bring as little luggage as possible.
  13. Are there beds in the tree-houses? top
    14. Of course there are! You will sleep in real beds with mattresses on bases !
  14. At what time shall we leave the tree-house ? top
    15. 11.00 a.m at the latest
  15. Can we bring our own camping stove to prepare meals?top
    16. Use of camping stoves or any other flame appliances is stricly forbidden. For obvious security reasons, you are allowed to use only the candles given on arrival to light the tree-house.
  16. Why is there a precise arrival schedule to be respected ?top
    17. Tree-houses are unlike hotel rooms. You are supervised by qualified staff. This strict organisation is neccessary for your security. You come to have a relaxing stay, not a reckless experience !
  17. If I miss the 4.00 p.m. climbing session, may I still go up to the tree-house at 6.00 p.m.?top
    18. Everything is possible ! But please inform us in advance of any delay. Like squirrels, we can’t be at the top of the tree and down on the ground to welcome you at the same time.
  18. Can we eat something on site?top
    19. Catering is always possible, either on site or in the vicinity (a few minutes driving). Please contact us on 00.33.299.735.300 if you wish to get more information about an associate member of « La Cabane en l’Air » chain. In any case, it is wiser to book a table when you reserve for your stay or when you arrive on site.
  19. When can I take a shower ?top
    20. In every site, a shower room is available, not too close but not too far either.
  20. Where shall we park our car?top
    21. You can park your car in the car parks indicated on site, generally located near your tree-house.
  21. Shall we bring our picnic along with us? top

  22. Have the tree-houses really been built in the tree ?top
    23. Yes, they have! We are tree-house builders! We choose a tree, according to its strength and health, and the houses are built with all due respect for the shape of the trunk and the branches. Each construction is unique !
